KAYLEIGH & SAM’S MONK FRYSTON HALL WEDDING - 1ST SEPTEMBER 2018
Kayleigh & Sam’s September wedding at Monk Fryston Hall near Leeds was a super chilled affair! I met these guys for the first time just a few weeks before, even though they booked me back in July 2017.
These two were just brilliant. They were total emos when they were younger, so all they really wanted to do when it came to their portraits was moody emo poses. Obviously I made them have a cheeky little smooch too (tee hee) but I couldn’t press the shutter for laughing most of the time! I love it when my couples don’t take themselves seriously!
And… there were doggos at this wedding! It began with Kayleigh and her bridal party getting ready in one of the gorgeous bedrooms at Monk Fryston Hall. It was so relaxed with plenty of time to spare before the ceremony so nobody felt rushed or stressed. Sam and his groomsmen were hanging outside so I was able to nip up and down between them both.
The venue reminded me of Hogwarts! So atmospheric and full of character. The ceremony & reception room was gorgeous and dark, beautifully decorated with tons of candles and flowers. It matched their style perfectly!
The cake was a gorgeous semi naked stacked design covered in flowers, with amazing brass hares as toppers! Bright Eyes - First Day of My Life was their first dance and the weather was still so nice after that long hot summer, that guests were hanging out on the patio outside until late. Thanks so much, Kayleigh & Sam, for being so cool and making me feel so welcome!
